Cleveland Corridor
Conservation Bank
The Cleveland Corridor Conservation Bank is a 598 acre preserve, located near Sutherland Reservoir in Ramona, that supports multiple habitat types including coastal sage scrub, coast live oak and Engelmann oak woodlands, and chaparral, as well as riparian and freshwater habitats. California mule deer, red-diamond rattlesnakes and a variety of birds, including California quail, towhees, and roadrunners call the preserve home. FLC will manage the preserve for three years before we take ownership. While the preserve is not open to the public, FLC is eager to host docent led hikes and volunteer opportunities on the preserve to help protect its conservation values.

Cleveland Corridor Conservation Bank was previously the private ranch of Buddy Ebsen who starred as Jed Clampett in "The Beverly Hillbillies". For over 50 years, Mr. Ebsen preserved the ranch for his family and friends to enjoy the great outdoors. Today, thanks to the conservation efforts of Sandy Creek Partners and the Fallbrook Land Conservancy, the Ebsen Ranch will be preserved and managed in perpetuity.
