Our Mission 

To create and maintain walking and biking trails on FLC Preserves for public recreation.

 

Volunteer for Trail Work

Regular Volunteer Days on Monserate Mountain Preserve are the first Saturday of every month from 8-10 am.  Regular Volunteer Days for trails on other preserves are scheduled for the third Saturday of every month form 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Preserves open to the public with trails and volunteer opportunities are: Rock Mountain, Monserate Mountain, Dinwiddie, Gird Valley, Los Jilgueros, Engel, and Heller’s Bend. Volunteers help restore trails and habitat, pick up trash, and remove invasive species and encroaching vegetation.  Tools and training are provided, just bring water and gloves.  Contact us at 760.728.0889 or for more info or to join our email list and receive monthly updates.
